BLACK LIVES MATTER
What a time to be alive in this country. I’ve struggled to take all of the emotions I’ve been feeling – the anger, hurt, and hopelessness – and deal with them, so I did it the best way I knew how, by writing. It is impossible to scroll through my timeline without seeing Derek Chauvin’s knee on George Floyd’s neck, or Ahmaud Arbery shot in his torso fighting for his life, or Breonna Taylor’s bright smile in a remembrance photo. For the past few days, I have seen cities in flames and citizens flooding the streets to protest the…
Courage the Cowardly Rider
“Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”- Nelson Mandela No one likes to admit that they are afraid, yet fear is something we all experience. Whether it is a fear of roller coasters, spiders, or cantering on a loose rein – fear is something that connects us all. I have often associated my fear with inadequacy. May Goals

Bellies, Breeches & Big Booties
Breeches are a staple in every equestrian’s wardrobe. Whether for schooling, showing or hacking out, breeches that hold up to wear and compliment your body are essential and sometimes difficult to come by. I’ve compiled a list of my favourite breeches and tights that are both size-inclusive and budget friendly.
April Goals
As March ends, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what I’ve accomplished last week and where I’d like to adjust and improve. With COVID19 causing lockdowns and social distancing – this is the opportune time to do some serious digging and work on self-development. I find that writing down my goals gives me something tangible to look back on and hold myself accountable. Goal setting not only keeps me on track, but it also helps me to stay focused when I feel overwhelmed or I fall off track for a few days and am not sure where to start.…
