August Goals

It is hard to believe that it is already August! This year has been flown by, yet the days seem to have all blurred together. The past few months have been particularly difficult as our country has been in a state of unrest. I would be lying if I said that my mind, spirit and body haven’t felt the effects of so much anger, hate and injustice. I have been far less productive than I planned to be. In reflecting on the past few months, I realize how necessary it was to give myself time to sort through my emotions and to deal with the weight of what is going on in our world today. In looking ahead, I understand the importance of taking care of both my physical and my mental health so that I can continue to do the things that I love. Perspective is important for maintaining a positive outlook in life, and in turn positivity aids our mental and physical health. Our perspective shapes our reality. For the month of August, I will focus on perspective, positivity and gratitude. Drop my a comment below and tell me what are some of your goals for the month of August!

  1. Try to be more consistent training my green bean. I re-arranged my schedule and hopefully that will work out ☺️ ! As for personal, I work 7 days per week so I’d love to take at least 1 weekend off.

  2. Those sound like great goals! I’m looking forward to seeing more of your content!

For me, my equestrian goal is to ride as much as I can. And for my personal goal, I want to cut down on screen time before bed, and read a book for better qualify of sleep. 🙂
