It is hard to believe that it is already August! This year has been flown by, yet the days seem to have all blurred together. The past few months have been particularly difficult as our country has been in a state of unrest. I would be lying if I said that my mind, spirit and body haven’t felt the effects of so much anger, hate and injustice. I have been far less productive than I planned to be. In reflecting on the past few months, I realize how necessary it was to give myself time to sort through my emotions and to deal with the weight of what is going on in our world today. In looking ahead, I understand the importance of taking care of both my physical and my mental health so that I can continue to do the things that I love. Perspective is important for maintaining a positive outlook in life, and in turn positivity aids our mental and physical health. Our perspective shapes our reality.   • Complete 2 lessons a week on Bear
  • Complete “Fear Free Riding” course
  • Complete 3 blog posts
  • Record, edit and upload 3 blog videos

Personal Goals:

  • Meditate for 20 mins a day
  • Journal reflections and goals nightly
  • Plan two days of self-care
  • Read one book
